At a blink of an eye, chinese new year is coming to an end.
Had spent the new year quite differently this year.
Good and Bad.

Just a brief summary of what I did:
Eve - Had reunion dinner over at my grandma's place
Day 1 - Visited my grandparent&relatives. Overnight Mahjong@my cousin place with 2 of my twin cousins&the boyfriend. Riding bicycles 5 in the morning (when everyone is asleep) to the nearest MacDonald for breakfast.
Day 2 - Got home in the morning and slept till afternoon. Then my cousin came to my place (cause she forgot to bring her keys out). So my cousin&the boyfriend join me and my parents for dinner at JalanKayu. NICE. Then we went to see people fly kites. Oh those beautiful kites flying graciously in the sky. Back to my house, the boyfriend taught me a magic trick. Those that we saw in the TV shows! SO LAME!
Day 3 - Went to Sentosa. Lots of people, lively is the word to describe :D Enjoyed the trip.
Day 4 - Back to work :(

Yup thats my new year. And Loo is back home! Been missing him man! Luckily he has got the international roaming plan. *Phew.
Thanks Loo for your presents from Japan !!! Showed me lots of photos taken over at Japan. Hoping I was there though. :X

Loo made breakfast for me!!! OMG? I was thinking how is this possible! HAHA. YES IT HAPPENED! WOW. my boyfriend, who dont even know how to cook noodles is making me breakfast! :P I have probably cast a spell on him!

Bought a PSP for his birthday. Hope he like it even though the PSP brought us much troubles due to the modification. ): And now he is so interested in the football game! :X Loo! dont neglect me hoh I tell you! HAHA!

Took an MC last monday cause *i m sick*. And Loo didnt need to book in! A great day spent with him. Time passes so fast lorh!

Gotten back my result for the papers I took during December. Was happy with it even though i failed one of them. I dont expect much from myself this time. Thought i would ended up failing the two papers as working and studying was not an easy task. Moreover, I have to teach the boys too. But probably these were the excuses I gave myself making me to feel better.
Anyway, i surprised that i scored 70 for my F5-Performance Management which was a harder paper, the lowest passing rate among other papers in level 2 and some tried several attempts and still failed. I was truly amazed. I thought i failed this instead.
The upset one is my law paper. Argh, Studied most of it for almost a year in my poly. what's more disappointing to fail the paper by merely a mark!

I want to do much better next time! I HOPE.HAHAH. I want to claim my money back from my company! LOL!

chinese new year is approaching. but i dont have the mood!
perhaps is because of my work. argh... 2 sets of accounts to meet this week. darn.
Hope i dont have to work overtime. :P
Haven't buy enough for my new year LORH. >.<

had a good weekends with Loo (: surprised him with my present!
nice place, nice food and nice people around.
i felt that god has been treating me so nice to introduce me to so many nice people around.
and someone who love and treasure me. i will in return, treasure all people around me :D

Loo is flying off to Japan this coming week.
i'm gonna miss him. oh man :X

by the way, papers' result coming out in 2 weeks time. i hope i can at least pass one of the paper. *I HOPE*

I’m in the office now. It’s raining outside, nice weather I thought. Kind of cool.

Or perhaps it’s because I feel so blessed now. Like those I’ve been missing.

I’ve been so busy lately…. ARGH. Closing year end accounts, new client account (like doing a puzzle), filing for GST, and a lot of miscellaneous. Of course, studying and lessons with the guys. Okay, enough of updates.

had spent my new year with Loo. a simple yet a meaningful one. oh well, and funny :p

met up with Wendy&Choong in the afternoon for ALvin&the chipmunks. They are so cute!

A lighthearted show which is just in time for the Christmas and New Year!

and got home couple of moments ago from Hard Rock Cafe! i quite like the place. will definitely visit again some time!

Hi People!

Just came back from Christmas party@Roof Top.

My company's building roof top i meant. Just want to sound more exciting larh. (:

everything was just fun.

Had a little amazing race in my company running back and forth searching for the keys to the treasures.

Next,

The Christmas feast is composed of sausages, potatoes, ham, salmon, and many many more. Not forgetting LOG CAKE!
YUMMY!

After an appetizing dinner, we had a musical gifts exchange session. MUCH LOVES!
It will not be the same without you guys!

Before you leave my journal, there is something i would very much want to share with you guys.
This was shared during our department meeting earlier today.

A 92 year old petite, well-poised man, who is up and fully dressed by 8:00am 
every morning. Has his hair fashionably combed and face shaved perfectly, 
even though he is legally blind.  His wife of 70 years recently passed away, 
making the move to a nursing home necessary. After waiting patiently for many 
hours in  the lobby of the nursing home, he was told his room was ready,
he gave big smile  and eagerly got up ready to go.

As he moved to the elevator with a walker. He was given a visual description  
of his soon to be tiny room;color,contents and even the makeshift curtains 
on his one window. 

With enthusiasm of an eight year old, he shouted I Love It! 

He was told  "Just wait, you haven't even seen the room yet,Mr Jones".

That doesn't have anything to do with it, he replied. 

Then he went on to say Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. 
Whether I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged....
it's how I arrange my mind.I have already decided to love it.    


It's a decision I make every single morning when I awake. I can have my  
choice; I can recount the difficulties that I have with parts of my bodies 
that no longer work right and spend the day in bed feeling sorry. Or be thankful 
for the good parts that still work and get up and get moving the best I can..  


As long as my eyes open each day it is a gift.Each new day 
I will focus on the happy memories that  I have stored away. Just for this 
time of my life.
 

Growing old is is like a bank account, where you withdraw from the bank account of 
life all that you have put into it. 

So, my advice to you would be to deposit lots of happiness into your bank account 
of memories.

Here are five simple happy rules for deposit.


1. Free your heart from hatred


2.Free your mind from worries


3. Live simply.


4. Give more.

5. Expect less.

Had my annual leave & my study leave.
hadn't done well for my first paper. Upset.
Tomorrow's paper is even tougher. gotta travel all the way to expo. and have to walk for like 15mins before i reached hall 1.
argh! was darn crowded. like three thousands over?
Blah!

went for a badminton session at TP last Friday. Oh man, i am arching now.
playing badminton was one of the best thing happened during my leave :P
SWEATS! (: i want more!

After resting for more than a week, am getting lazy.
Work starts on Tuesday! Look forward!

D&D last friday. Was the first time that the company organise the whole event tehmselves w/o any external help from event mgmt due to the cutting of cost. i must say that its been really hard on them.
however,
Everyone was darn high and the event somehow was getting out of control with the toasting of beer going around everywhere among the tables. It was really diffcult to control the crowd of 500.

was really happy to see you first thing i woke up in the morning. e
verything was so beautiful. just as i wanted it to be.
a memorable weekend.

LOUIS SET FOR VIPERS LOAN
Maoists skipper agrees terms with Cactusians

Victory Arena – Questra Vipers Football Club today announced that it has reached an agreement to bring Maoists FC's captain Louis Loo to the club on loan in a deal that is seen to be beneficial for both parties.

An official statement released by the club this morning read:

We are pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with the player, Mr Louis Loo Zhe Zheng, to have him join us for the rest of this season.

Louis will join up with the rest of the squad once they have returned from the Borneo Football Cup early next week.

Club chairman John Yeong was unable to be reached for comment regarding the news, however a spokesperson for the club revealed that the deal involving the 20 year-old is a unique one that has never been done before in the club's history.

“We have been following Louis' progress very closely last season, and he is a player that interests us. It is a pity that Maoists is rather inactive at the moment given most of the players are undergoing National Service."

"We have decided to extend this opportunity to Louis to keep on playing football during this period of inactiveness for his team. However, as Maoists FC is his boyhood club and runs in his veins, it is difficult for us to offer him anything other than a temporary deal.”

"We believe this deal will benefit us as a club looking to build our future on talented youth, while the overall experience during Louis' stay here in a well structured club can only do him a world of good if and when he decides to return to Maoists FC."

Louis becomes the third Questra Vipers player on loan this season, with Chinese midfielder Liao Qiangming and Eastern Vale striker Lee Tse Yang both joining the club on short term deals.

Wednesday night.

nothing much happened. just tired of the daily routine.

wanted to get out of it so much. i want to go back to school! i am sure thats what most of you wanted.

:(

somehow i find myself contradicting.

one side of me always look forward to every weekends but the other side is hoping that the time could freeze.

will i be feeling the same way if things go another way? i doubt so. its because time is very limited for us.

a month more to my exam and i have yet to start on my revision. AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! God bless me. I am a good student, i went for every lesson :X

okayy... just read a some topic out of the big chapter.

i've learnt how to respect one another. their thinking. putting myself in other people shoe.

Morninggggggggggggggggg People! It's SATURDAY! But i am feeling a bit unwell :(

i have so much to say! though not so interesting but still, HERE!

The previous time i blogged about the question that Josh asked me

and i posted this question to my colleagues during dinner and i made two of the guys squeezed their brains for the whole night!

HAHAHA! I bet most of the accountants have that "unless i found the accounting treatment, if not i wont give up" mindset

and finally we reached a verdict! Same as my first solution!

okay put this aside, i bet nobody is interested except me :X

Had a Fire-drill last afternoon!!! The whole building had to disperse to the field opposite Peace Centre.

Waste my time! i am racing with time to finalize my accounts :X but i manage to finished it by the day *PHEW

His mum is really nice! The way she talked to me is so gentle. She prepared dinner for me when i went to coach Josh that day. i kept rejecting her unitl i feel "bu hao yi shi" she argued,"bu yao ke qi, da jia dou shi zhi ji ren".
She even asked me to have some desserts.

I really do think that i have nice people around me. i am so blessed. :D

My classmate offered to help me to pay for my exam fees using her credit card when i she learned that i dont have a card to process the transaction online! Great isnt it? Now it's all settled!

They are all very kind. i shall learn to be like them!

What a busy monday! *Phew

Lucky i had tuition pushed to sunday. Josh in the morning and WF in the afternoon.

Knocked off 730 this evening and so many things left undone. But i enjoy working though. I have a crave for knowledge

Last morning Josh dad drove me to his place. On the way there, he asked me have i came across this situation and if i know the accounting treatment for that incident...

Here it goes...

Have you come across a client who gave his customers discount voucher that the validity stretch across more than one accounting year, how will you book it in?

My answer to him was... i have not touch on this before but if i have to answer this, my answer will be...
i wont book in until the client uses the voucher for his purchase and that means until the amount is realized.

(anyone got the answer? tell me!)

then he continued...

what if the sum of the discount voucher is huge and you have to book in?

hmmmmm..... the first thing that came in my mind was treating it as a provision that comes under current liabilities? And not realize the whole sum into expense account as to escape from being tax by the tax authority.

the next thing that came into my mind was recoverable that the sum would eventually be recovered (but i guess this is the wrong answer so i didnt mentioned)

(anyone has any idea? i am keen to know!)

i find that accounting is part of me now. Everyday i am dealing with it even on the weekends. (:

anyway,
i went to cut my hair again. it darn short now!

again, another week is going to pass. that fast

finally the end of audit. nth much for me actually. *phew, sense of relief

today went for tuition in the morning. Attended my performance mgmt lesson in the afternoon for 3.5hours

just a blink of an eye the lesson is over. i start to love performance mgmt though its tough. i am not insane

i like doing math that explains why. well i enjoy my law lesson too. okay i like to study beside the facts that it can be quite tiring.

oh my its already 920 and i have not yet taken my bathe.

tomorrow will be heading out for the ugly truth after Josh lesson. hope its nice (:

i started to doubt my ability. i didnt know that accounts can be so difficult & tedious!
Can i have more memory space pls! How could they remember so many little details at one go?
one minute they were concentrating on this client and another moment they were at another with all the small details and expectations of the client in they head?

i must work hard man!
